Lotte Egtberts

moss is a young, cross-border collective for curatorial projects based in Ghent. Established in 2020, moss was born out of a close collaboration between Curatorial Studies alumni (2018-2019) Lieselotte Egtberts, Elisa Maupas, Lucie Ménard and Anna Stoppa.

Just like sprigs of moss surrounding us can be discovered in the cracks from up close, moss cares for sensitivity to details and sees excitement in places where you won’t expect it. As a collective, moss sees collaboration among its members and with artists as situations of constant dialogues producing unexpected results. moss deliberately chose to consider this co-dependency as an asset, and to assert this vulnerability - the need for others - as a strength in a competitive context.
